Faculty of Management at UG with Extended ACCA Accreditation until 2030!
The Faculty of Management at the University of Gdańsk has obtained a prestigious extension of its ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) accreditation for the years 2026-2030. This is important news for students of the Finance and Accounting program, especially those specializing in “ACCA Accounting” at the second-cycle level.
The accreditation extension is the result of the dedication and efforts of prof. Arleta Szadziewska, Head of the Department of Accounting. Thanks to her commitment, students will continue to benefit from exemptions from ACCA exams, opening doors to an international career in finance and accounting.
What does ACCA accreditation provide? Students specializing in “ACCA Accounting” in the second-cycle program gain the opportunity to be exempted from 9 out of 14 required ACCA exams at the Fundamentals level (F1-F9):
· F1 – Accountant in Business,
· F2 – Management Accounting,
· F3 – Financial Accounting,
· F4 – Corporate and Business Law,
· F5 – Performance Management,
· F6 – Taxation,
· F7 – Financial Reporting,
· F8 – Audit and Assurance,
· F9 – Financial Management.
Similar benefits are available to participants of the Postgraduate Studies in “ACCA Accounting” at the Faculty of Management at UG, which also holds ACCA accreditation.
A Gateway to an International Career Holding ACCA qualifications paves the way for prestigious positions in the financial sector, such as financial controller, business analyst, auditor, reporting manager, financial director, or CFO. Thanks to the extended accreditation, the Faculty of Management at UG will continue to support students and graduates in achieving professional success both in Poland and abroad.
